01 Who we are

BE100 (Beast 100) provides photography, videography and media services from Johannesburg, South Africa. We are the responsible party for the personal information described here, and we process it in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

02 What we collect

When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, any event or project date, and the project details you choose to share. Please don't include sensitive information such as health details or identity numbers.

03 Why we use it

We use your information only to respond to you, prepare quotes, plan and deliver work you book, and keep basic business records. We rely on your consent when you send the form, and on what is needed to enter into or perform an agreement with you. We won't send you marketing unless you ask us to.

04 Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies for advertising or analytics, and it does not track you across other sites. To understand how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and how many visitors leave after one page, we use Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and does not identify you: visits are counted with an anonymous identifier that resets every day, and we see only totals, such as pages viewed, the site that referred you, your country, and your type of device and browser. Our hosting provider also keeps short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure and prevent abuse of the enquiry form.

05 Sharing and transfers outside South Africa

We never sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, such as website hosting and email delivery. Some of these providers store or process data outside South Africa, including in the United States. By sending an enquiry you consent to this transfer, and we use providers that apply appropriate safeguards.

06 How long we keep it

We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them for the purposes above. If we work together, we keep records for as long as the law requires. After that, we delete them.

07 Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information, including encrypted connections on this site and limited access within our team. If we have reasonable grounds to believe your information has been compromised, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.

08 Children

This site is intended for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you. A parent or guardian can ask us to remove an image of their child at any time, and we will do so promptly.

09 Photographs and removal requests

Our portfolio shows real people at real events and shoots. If you appear in a photograph on this site and would prefer that it wasn't published, tell us which image it is and we will remove it promptly. 10 Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, withdraw your consent, or object to its use. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.
